Operator Assisted Trading Navigators

    Market Guidance Systems Inc. has developed a very unique Operator Assisted Trading Platform: the Real Time Market Navigator (RTN). This decision-making platform is based on a series of distinctive proprietary trading indicators developed by MGS over the past 15 years. The heart of this trading system is the Spectrum of Sentiment indicator - a unique market direction indicator that measures the difference between buying and selling activities registered over multiple time frames. This indicator uses highly intuitive visual patterns to convey the direction of the market and it statistically exhibits an accuracy of over 75%. The Spectrum of Sentiment indicator is easy to understand and learn.

There are several other proprietary indicators that are incorporated in the RTN's intuitive user interface. Some of these indicators include:

  • Bid/Ask Gauge An indicator based on a Supply/Demand Function calculated in real time using buy/sell orders registered in a trading book.
  • Trader's Commitment Gauge An indicator that tracks the relative amount of canceled orders that were placed on both the Bid and Ask sides of a trading book.
  • Trading Zone Gage An indicator that utilizes a fair price calculation that is based on a real-time regression analysis.

    All of these, as well as other, proprietary gauges form an intuitive, easy-to-read interface that enables a trader to analyze current market conditions and make trading decisions that are much more accurate than can be made with any other trading platforms currently in existence.

    RTN is capable of tracking multiple securities and has the ability to switch its focus to a security that has a better trading set up. A built-in Trade Locator automatically scans selected securities and alerts users to their potential trading setups.

    Overall, RTN is a cutting edge decision making platform for active traders. It has a unique built-in direct access execution platform that facilitates rapid execution of trades using an ergonomically designed intuitive interface.

    Several generations of this product have been successfully used by traders and market analysts.

 

Direct Access Trading Platforms

    In all of Market Guidance Systems Inc.'s products, our proprietary Direct Access Execution Platform (DAEP) plays a central role. Our automated trading systems (Real-Time Trading Navigators) and several of our other developments have DAEP as a built-in feature.

    Our DAEP uses industry standard FIX-protocol for direct connection to the markets. It features a broker independent market connection, a unique order movement design with intuitive controls, a Bid / Ask order entry method that minimizes trading errors, a double click profit capture method to enhance the execution speed and a profit display. It allows for the execution of up to 50 orders a second. It also has a propriety average cost calculation display, which has become an industry standard.

    Our DAEP has one-click cancellation tools including a one button cancel-replace tool and a group order canceling mechanism. In addition, it also possesses an elaborate hot keys execution short cut module. All of which provide a trader with exceptionally fast and accurate execution controls. The Panic Button control enables simultaneous exit from all the positions being held with minimum slippage.

    A unique group display of related derivatives based on an underlying security creates an efficient mechanism to construct complex synthetic positions.

    Our Automated News Reader is an engine that analyzes information from several news feeds and identifies current and developing events that could affect your portfolio holdings. The News Reader reads and scans for keywords related to securities of interest.

Real-Time Trading Simulator with Accurate Fills and realistic Execution Timing
    This highly sophisticated training system allows a trainee to experience real market conditions without putting real money at risk. Realistically simulated fills, rejects and all of the real market anomalies help a trader to practice his/her decision making and execution skills in conditions that are extremely close to the real thing. No other trading simulator creates a more accurate and extremely close to reality trading environment. This simulator allows a tick-by-tick replay of market conditions and has three different modes of operation:

  • Historical data simulation
  • Real-Time simulated trading
  • Synthetic data simulated trading.

    This training tool keeps track of the trader's performance for later analysis and allows remote viewing of the trader's performance by the supervisor.
